A tomato sauce in literally minutes!

1 pound spaghetti
1 jar tomato sauce (24-ounces)
2 cloves garlic (grated)
1 tablespoon fresh oregano (leaves only, chopped)
1 tablespoon thyme (leaves only, chopped)
1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Kosher salt (to taste)
fresh basil (leaves only, to garnish)
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (grated, to garnish)

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Drop the pasta into the salted water and cook according to package instructions.
Meanwhile, in heavy bottomed saute pan, over medium high heat, add the tomato sauce. Stir in the garlic, oregano, thyme, crushed red pepper and season with salt to taste. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 5 minutes.
Remove the pasta, along with 1/4 cup of pasta water and basil leaves to the saute pan and toss to combine. Serve warm and top with Parmesan cheese.
Tip: Make this sauce your own by adding your favorite blend of herbs!
