A tasty way to grill up your classic chicken!

ingredients
SWEET AND SPICY LEMONADE GRILLED CHICKEN
2 shallots (peeled, sliced)
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 and 1/2 tablespoons fish sauce
2 tablespoons garlic chile sauce
2 cloves garlic (peeled, sliced)
1 and 1/2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
1 and 1/2 teaspoons Chinese five-spice powder
1/4 cup Pink Cherry Lemonade (insert link)
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 whole chicken (skin-on, cut into 8 pieces)
2 limes (cut into wedges, to serve)
cilantro leaves (chopped, to garnish)
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)

directions
In a large bowl or ziptop bag, add the shallots, soy sauce, fish sauce, garlic chile sauce, garlic, brown sugar, Chinese five-spice, lemonade, olive oil, and season with salt and pepper. Whisk to combine and add chicken to mixture, turning on both sides to coat. Wrap baking dish with plastic wrap or seal plastic bag and place in the refrigerator to marinate overnight.
Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Remove marinated chicken from refrigerator, about 30 minutes before grilling. Remove the chicken from marinade, season with salt and pepper, and place on the grill. Allow to cook until charred on both sides and cooked through, or a meat thermometer reads 165ºF, about 4 minutes per side. Remove from grill, serve with lime wedges and garnish with cilantro.
Tip: Try this marinade on pork tenderloin or skirt steak to spice up your weeknight meals!
